What is Wax Play?
WAX PLAY
THE SHORT & SWEET
Wax play is a type of temperature play that falls under the sensation play umbrella of Kink & BDSM. Simply put, hot melty wax gets dripped onto skin, enticing the pain and pleasure receptors & creating beautiful patterns on the body.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ONES WE CARRY
The candles in the jars are easy to pick up/set down in the middle of play & the handle doesn't get hot. & some jar candles are black light reactive. When using the drip stick candles, you'll need to have a safe place to set it down that won't burn. The body form candles are a nice middle ground, since they stand on their own!
PRO TIPS
- Drip from higher up (minimum 18 inches away) to start, this allows the wax to cool a bit more before touching skin.
- Avoid playing over upholstery, carpet, or your best sheets at first, until you understand how cleanup works.
- Use a body oil on the skin before dripping, this creates a barrier and makes for easier clean up- just don't let the flame get too close.
- To remove the wax, use a knife, credit card, or other firm-edge object.
